
Cancer Epidemiologists and Prevention Researchers
The Cancer Prevention Institute provides ample opportunities for cancer prevention and control research. Candidates with specific interest and expertise in chemoprevention and research into cancer screening are particularly encouraged to apply. Applicants should have a PhD in Epidemiology or related field, or an MD with additional postgraduate study and experience in epidemiology/cancer prevention control research. Evidence of sustained research funding and publication productivity are definite assets.
All Cancer Prevention Institute scientists are expected to be approved for adjunct faculty appointments in the Department of Community Medicine at WSUSOM, academic rank commensurate with qualifications and experience.
